Here at Slievemore we’re committed to providing the most cutting edge care to our patients. We’re always investing and learning better ways to provide care. Being a pioneering clinic means we’re always willing to carry out treatments that others may think impossible. Below is just some of the advanced technology we employ to maximise your Oral health.

Microscope

The resolving power or ability of the naked eye to distinguish small or closely adjacent images is 0.2mm whereas with a microscope it is increased to 0.06mm. Enhanced vision facilitates minimal intervention. This means we can diagnose and prevent more then ever before. We’ve been using microscopes for 10 years. Being ahead of the curve means we can now use microscopes to provide treatment not available elsewhere. We also have a unique video based system meaning we can record your examination and for the future we aim to send you a copy to watch yourself.

Osseodensification

Here at Slievemore we believe more is better. we are one of the only clinics in Ireland using osseodensification. This allows us to preserve your bone during implant placement by compacting it instead of cutting it away. This modern concept and advanced technique means we can keep all those valuable cells alive in order to give you implants that can last a lifetime.

Implants

We at Slievemore believe everyone deserves to smile with confidence. Dental implants are titanium screws which fuse to our bone and can be used to hold teeth in the mouth.

We provide all types of implants including pterygoid, zygomatic and the life changing all-on-4 technique meaning there is no case we aren’t willing to discuss and no patient we aren’t willing to help.

Digital x-rays

New technologies have developed which provide better-quality images. Dental digital x-rays are a product of these technological advances.

With these, the x-ray film is replaced with an electronic sensor which emits a small number of x-rays into the part of the mouth it is pointed at while relaying information back to a computer screen, where both dentist and patient can clearly see how the patient’s teeth are doing.
